Our Goals
At EcoDrive Nova Scotia, our mission is to create a sustainable future by developing a comprehensive network of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations across small towns, rural communities, and underserved regions of Nova Scotia. Our goals are rooted in the belief that clean, accessible transportation is key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, revitalizing local economies, and connecting our communities.
1. Expand EV Infrastructure
We aim to strategically install EV chargers in rural and small-town Nova Scotia, ensuring that all regions, regardless of size or population density, have access to reliable charging infrastructure. By focusing on these areas, we bridge the gap between urban centers and remote communities, making EV ownership a viable option for all.
2. Promote Sustainable Tourism
By integrating EV charging stations with local attractions, parks, and cultural sites, we seek to boost eco-friendly tourism across Nova Scotia. Our goal is to attract visitors who are passionate about sustainability, driving economic growth in small communities while promoting the natural beauty and cultural richness of our province.
3. Foster Community Engagement
We believe in the power of community. That’s why we are committed to involving local residents, businesses, and municipalities in our project. We will host community consultations, partner with local organizations, and ensure that our initiatives align with the unique needs and values of each area we serve.
4. Create Job Opportunities
EcoDrive Nova Scotia is dedicated to supporting the local workforce. As we expand our network, we will create job opportunities by hiring locally for the installation, maintenance, and operation of our charging stations. We will also collaborate with training institutions and unions to ensure our workforce is equipped with the latest skills in EV technology.
5. Enhance User Experience
We are committed to providing a seamless and enjoyable experience for all EV drivers. This includes integrating activity parks and amenities at our charging sites, offering spaces for relaxation, recreation, and community interaction while vehicles charge. We aim to transform charging stops into positive, memorable experiences that contribute to the well-being of our users.

EcoDrive Nova Scotia aligns with Nova Scotia’s and Canada’s broader climate goals.
